Bio
The Freezelands are an acoustic duo consisting of Tad & Jackie Freezeland. When you hear Jackie's vocals, you might think Underwood's range and power, Lambert's attitude, and Yearwood's dynamic. Her vocals are equally scathing as they are sultry, so one might believe that every word is being formed in the soul before spilling out of her mouth. Always by her side is seasoned guitarist and husband Tad Freezeland, adding mesmerizing harmonies while dexterously working the strings of his Gibsun. The Freezeland's write their music together, blending years of experience in classic country, modern country, gospel, and rock music.
The Freezelands are promoting their 2nd album "Worth the Wait," an acoustic country album so named because it debuted exactly 10 years after their freshman album "Crazy Blonde."
Tad & Jackie front a high-energy country band called "Jac Freeze," who have opened for the likes of Sugarland, Craig Morgan, Josh Gracin, Buddy Jewel, Resless Heart, Shenandoah, & Bomshell. Fellow band members include Aaron Walk on bass and Matt Warren on drums.
The Freezelands (acoustic show) are often joined by a veteran guitarist and harmony vocalist Rod Evans, currently touring with the "Feudin' Hillbillies," as well as percussionist Dave Stephens on cajon, who can also be seen with "Superbad."
