The Gollihers

Before The Gollihers were officially The Gollihers, they were just two people sitting in a bar trying to decide on a Top 5 Beatles Songs list. Then Nathan found out that Aisha played the cello. Turns out, Nathan played the guitar. A few months later there was a single song played at a gig, then a date, then a shared apartment, and then a wedding. You get the idea. Today, The Gollihers play a wide, often bizarre range of music influenced by the likes of musicians from The Avett Brothers to Ziggy Stardust and everyone in between. An audience will truly never know what they're going to get next. Sometimes they play as a duo, but also as a trio, featuring upright bass player Randy Hill, and as a full band, featuring electric bassist Jared Blaylock and drummer Matthew Redding (both of the funkadelic band The French Trips).

The Gollihers firmly believe in playing the music they love. Playing music that affects you on a deep, personal level is the most effective way to draw in an audience. In order to move the listener, you must first be moved by the creation.
