The Southern Sea

Pete Freedman of the Observer reviewed the new record and it's mostly good! He did mention that to him we might have borrowed a little too much from Modest Mouse and Death Cab on this CD and I believe that's credible criticism. It's good to hear what others think. All in All, I think it's a really positive review. Especially in light of quotes like this "But this much should be inarguable: On its first full-length release, Greenville's best-kept secret firmly establishes itself, quite capably, among the premiere indie-pop outfits in the region." They also posted an mp3 and wrote a bit more about the record to clarify and respond to comments posted by someone who will remain nameless!
