2014 Louisiana Music prize finalist The Ian Quiet Band march to the beat of their own drummer. Their unique sound and lively stage show plays to people all over the Gulf coast. The band which music producer Jerry Harrison of The Talking Heads fame calls "A cross between the B-52s and The Sex Pistols", keeps people dancing and smiling in every town they visit. We have shared the stage with such international acts as jean jean from paris France and The Otonana Trio from Tokyo Japan. We also have festival experience having played 2015 Dallas Observer Music Award winning Oaktopia festival in Denton Texas.
