Bio

When worlds collide we are often left with something so great that it changes the face of how we previously looked at things. The combination of two Hip Hop artists from rival sides of a city is never an easy task but when it works out, you are left with something great and San Diego’s "Trackwide" has stepped out to prove when you look past the inner city battles faced in San Diego music can be changed for the best. Born and raised in rival neighborhoods of Southeast San Diego, Mischif and Deuce iLL grew up surrounded by friction in the streets and found music as a creative outlet to showcase another side of the young men coming up in the area. Most notably known in the city of San Diego for their slogan “Brown Up” which represents living life to the fullest no matter your situation and most importantly the consumption of brown liquor which they showcase in many of their events and visual material. The duo came together in 2007 starting as two individuals with a dream to make it in the music industry. Overtime the quality, preparation, and seriousness of what they can do become surreal and they ventured on the journey to reach a common goal. As they continued to record and network the streets began to pay attention to the material being produced by Trackwide. After the release of multiple projects and nominated for "Hip Hop Album of the Year" at the 2013 San Diego Music awards the duo built up a buzz in the city as well as recording with a great mix of popular San Diego MC’s. The Duo began doing local shows and eventually performing at some of San Diego’s most popular venues such as F6ix, The World Beat Center, UCSD’s Porter’s Pub, Bassmnt (formally known as Belo), and during SXSW 2015 in Austin, Texas. Most notably, Trackwide has opened for popular Hip-Hop artists Curren$y, Nipsey Hussle, Talib Kweli and many other reputable artist. The duo most recently released a serious of songs and two separate solo albums, “Train 89" by Deuce iLL and "Genre" by Mischif. The “Genre” album comprised of a melodic and Hip-Hop sound was recognized by B-Real TV, and the song “Blazin” was voted #1 Music Video by Snoop Dogg's Underground Heat. The name Trackwide derives from their music being a universal sound, a musical sound that can be played and connected with worldwide.
