Tumie Wang

Dominie Pittman a.k.a “Tumie’ Wang”, was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. He now lives in Los Angeles, California where he has turned his hobby of rapping to his main focus. His stage name, Tumie’ Wang, came from his God parents because as a child he loved chicken wings. Hence, Tumie’ meaning your stomach (tummy) and Wang meaning wings, but black people never say wings, they say wangs.

In high school he was in a rap group called 850 Enterprises. After high school his passion was steered to football. God, family, and football were his only concentrations. Ultimately upon graduating from University of North Alabama, his devotion was redirected to rap. He realized that his adoration for music supercede football and wanted his past hobby to be more than a leisure activity.

He now desires to feed the world something they are hungry for - a purpose and a message that simply states “L.A.F.F”. Life After Foolishness and F**ckery in which is the title of his EP. “We all have done some f*cked up things in our life, but to keep those past things from pulling you down, you LAFF about it and press on. At the end of the day you become a better person and add more wisdom to you which is called LEARNING from your mistakes. So no matter what Foolishness or F*cked up stuff you have done, this is the Life After it so LAFF it off – you’re living and you will be stronger”.
