In the summer of 2014 Alex Jordan and Daisy Cameron became Union Point. Daisy, with her skills for songwriting and melody and Alex’s as a writer, studio musician and fledgling producer, they came together to give you the songs that take indie-country to the next level.
Daisy grew up in Dothan, AL and started writing songs at the age of 12. She then learned the piano, guitar, and ukulele over the next few years. Alex born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL has been around music all his life, honing his skills in the Family’s Church band and his cousin’s studio as an engineer and studio musician. When these two combined their forces together they wrote five incredibly infectiously good songs.
Union Point is a collaboration with Veteran Producer/writer Billy Chapin (Backstreet Boys, Don Henley, Sister Hazel) and Co-Producer/writer Matt McKeown (Sister Hazel, Jim Sonefeld). While working with both Daisy and Alex on projects, Chapin and McKeown saw the potential and synergy with the two artists. The rest is history.
Over the past 6 months these two have been writing and recording their songs to unleash on the world. Union Point is now working on coordinating their EP release and first radio tour. Stay tuned to see what’s next from this magical duo.
