UNKO FUNKi is Dan Bonow's exciting organ based band that evokes the innocence of Do Wop, the compelling danceability of Funk steeped in the hypnotic meter of Highlife and JuJu... uplifting love songs alternate with sociopolitical chants of encouragement.
UNKO FUNKi follows Mr Bonow's earlier bands that have played concerts and clubs internationally- dance oriented Soul Jazz ...music that plays and stays with the listener.
Bonow recently moved at least part time to Los Angeles after living on Kauai for 18 years.
Recently broadening their "home town" to be Earth, UNKO FUNKI is dedicating every note to the Galactic message of World Peace and Love1
