ernon mathis, born on septermber 1st 1988 easst st. louis illinois. at age 5 his family relocated to shreveport louisiana until age 12 when they returned to the st louis area. michael jackson's thriller album is what launched his first interest in music at a very early age. in his later years, he was influenced by aritist such as eminem, kanye west, lil wayne, as well as the 50 cent get rich or die trying album. in 2007 he formed a group called Grip Boyz and took on the stage name v-doue ka$h while in killeen tx. The group recorded hits such as check out my swag, get down, get pretty, and when she walk by. The song Get Pretty debuted on the radio with 106.3 and CC cruz as the dj. also, v-doue work with dj's such as dj gottem and dj bananz in which they launched numerous parties and openings. v-doue was named MVP artist of the month in ''throwed'' magazine in 2009 after his song get pretty made the radio
