Bio

Maryland Natives “The Flyers” Consist of two main members. Xavier Diaz (Stage name Image), As well as fellow artist Charles Applewhite (alias of Faiz). These aspiring artist, influenced by the early 90'sl rhyme delivery style of the east cost, The Flyers add a new school twist to Hip hop by blending various kinds of beat samples, different genre sounds, and rhyme styles in order to catch every type of music lovers ear while staying true to themselves and speaking from the heart.

The duo first discovered the others talent in their freshman year of high school. Being involved with many extra-curricular activities, they were able to use that exposure when posting their music on Social Networks such as Facebook, to gain a stable fanbase through-out their school district.

As they developed using better equipment and studying various different artist while finding their own style, they caught the attention of "Mantaray Records" an Independent Record Label under Sony's (IODA): Independent Online Distribution Alliance. Also 88.9 radio host Debra Owens, PBS intern Devon Green, and Eleven-million view Youtube sensations Zach Bailey and (Louis Celano) who is now their Producer. The Flyers presence in their music videos have also gained them clothing sponsorships such as college targeted Frattanks as seen in their “Noise” video amongst a crowd of University of Maryland fans.

Their Sophomore mixtape "#ShouldbeSigned" allowed The Flyers to gain more exposure in the Washington DC and Maryland area and a huge social network buzz. The Flyer's strong stage presence and social status have caused them to be an accounted performance as seen at venues such as The University of Baltimore Maryland's "Flat Tuesdays" Virgina's Nightclub "The Empire" as well as Baltimore's "Soundstage" and "Sonar". Their videos have been engulfing entire local DMV area blog sites, not to mention sweeping through flooding the Timelines of many on twitter.

Style influenced by Big Pun, Big L, Big Daddy Kane, Drake, Kanye West, Nas, Chiddy bang, Wiz Khalifa, Cory Gunz, Cassidy, Jadakiss and so on. Mostly Self produced, and engineered all of their own music with the help of Louis The Flyers are on a land-mind of opportunity.
