Bio

Whiskey Romance have been dominating the Florida music scene with hyper stage presence and original sounds. They have struck a nerve with diverse crowds of discerning music fans young and old alike while sharing the stage with national acts such as Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, The Independents and Time Again among others.

Founding members Mike Whiskey (guitar and lead vocals) and Olmsted (bass) have been playing music together for over five years in their hometown of Sarasota, Fl. They recruited former Eat Lead drummer and close friend Aaron "Boogidee" Kent for drum duty and after a handful of shows they recorded a six song EP.

The EP was well received and the song "Give an Inch" made it into light rotation on Florida's Clear Channel Radio Station 105.9 the Buzz with another track "Coming Around" featured on a compilation being produced by Mind Syndicate Productions as well.

Since then they have played Rockabilly festivals in Bradenton, Tampa and Jacksonville, benefits for the local roller derby team and toys for tots to Tampa Bay's unfortunate children, and also worked with Smoking Baby Productions to record a live DVD and CD of newer music at Gallery Billiards in Dec. of 2007.

In early 2008 Dan "Duckie" Garrido of the long running ska bands the Toasters and the Strangeways joined the band on drums and since then the trio have been playing shows and working out new songs to captivate their continuously expanding audience.
