Bio

Although their rap moniker, Wiked Wood, may not quite be a household name yet, make no mistake: these two aspiring emcees, Creep and Cray-Z, are definitely no stranger to Hip Hop.

Known for their witty wordplay, and gritty delivery mixed with hard-hitting beats, Wiked Wood calls their sound and style "Progressive Hip Hop that combines realistic stories with hypnotic beats and skilled lyricism."

The energetic up-n-coming young gunners are talented and versatile artists rarely seen in today’s urban music landscape, as Wiked Wood writes, rhymes, and produces their own music to make sure it fits their high musical standards. From their catchy beats, to their acoustic melodies, they like to give an even mix of genres to create their own sound.

The East Coast rap renegades managed to amalgamate the lyrical skills of the ‘90s with their catchy and energetic signature sound while maintaining their integrity. The duo’s subject matter covers harsh realities, but they go out of their way to let their fans know that these things are to be avoided and not glorified.

Wiked Wood speaks for the outcasts of society, and the duo sheds light on situations they have seen firsthand. The group accepts social responsibility and wishes to push the envelope when it comes to subject matter in Hip Hop.

Having already released countless original singles and freestyles online since 2013, Wiked Wood have become much sought-after emcees, especially in the underground circuit.

In 2013, Wiked Wood released their critically acclaimed and media praised debut album, “Red Carpet Status”, followed by “Dubs Up” in 2015, mixed and mastered by Robert Rebeck (Tech N9ne, Paul Wall, Krizz Kaliko), which received rave reviews. Creep and Cray-Z are constantly in the studio perfecting their craft, and working on new music to feed the streets. Wiked Wood is ready to crank up the commercial side of the rap game now, and being compared to legendary Hip-Hop icons such as Tech N9ne, Twiztid, and Hopsin only shows that people can expect future Hall of Famers in the music industry.
