YCYCYC

         DRM Entertainment Group is located in small town Mississippi. It is a rural area which boasts a population of about 13,000 people. It is Drug Related Music! It is the voice of this small, rural town, in the heart of Mississippi. It is the home of old bluesmen: such as, Mississippi John Hurt, Walter Davis, Big George Brock, Magic Sam (Maghett), Magic Slim (Holt), and Eddie Willis, to name a few. It is one of the stops of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He marched down the same streets that have become home to weekly murders, revolving drug deals, and daily robberies. It is a place where schools are still somewhat segregated. It is where those that have chose to ignore the past have forgotten it. It is where those that live in it daily, don't understand it's present existence. It is the home of a great "Movement". It is the home of Drug Related Music. It is the home of DRM's ticket out, YCYCYC. 

          Growing up moving from place to place was hard for YCYCYC. Born, Bobby Armstrong, he was the oldest of three kids. He was raised in the most impoverished side of town. It was known as the "River". It was a section isolated from the rest of the small town where YCYCYC lived. The poverty, the roaches, and the rats, weren't anything compared to the floods. Whenever it rained, all the rental shacks would flood several times a year. The folk that resided there were given the label "River Rats". After they were eventually relocated, most moved to the Poplar street area. YCYCYC stayed from house to house. He mowed lawns to eventually selling lawn. He did anything he had to do to make ends meet. He eventually ended up on Poplar, hanging out with the very kids he grew up with on the "River". YCYCYC went on to do something the others gave up on. He made a promise to himself to finish school. Afterwards, he got deeply engulfed in the same trap that had taken those before him. He never had any real vision for the music industry. As he puts it, "It was something to do to release my thoughts." He ended up meeting his soon to be mentor, after being released from federal prison. Never did he know he would learn so much from a guy who had spent most of his life inside the penitentiary walls. Later, he met another local guy who ate, slept, and figuratively "shitted" music. Combining to form a team, and adding the missing ingredients, with neighborhood friends: such as BOB G., would prove to be the "Recipe". Teaming also , with local engineer Mic Hargrove, only put the "icing on the cake. Beyond anything imaginable, they have formed the ultimate team. Now, he is the face of DRM Entertainment, the Messiah of the Poplar street community, the God of a Nation. Mississippi is his castle, and Grenada is his throne. YCYCYC has arrived.
