Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame 2024 nominee for "BEST new artist/band"
7 HRS AHEAD is an alternative-rock band from Central Pennsylvania. Taking inspiration from new wave, brit-pop, and turn of the century alt-rock, 7 HRS AHEAD delivers a punchy, melodic sound that is hard-hitting and danceable.
The project started in 2023 when Kevin Lusk (vocals) and Matt Meckley (guitar) began writing music while deployed overseas. After returning home, they were joined by Dylan Painter (drums), and Chris Pearson (bass) in 2024.
"7 HRS AHEAD" derives from the time difference between Pennsylvania and the Middle-East.
