Executionist is a thrash-metal band hailing from Charleston, West Virginia. Formed by brothers Brett & Tristan Ash, their debut EP "Destined from Destruction" hit the scene in 2021. In 2023, a single by the name of "GENESIS 666" was released in March. Shortly after releasing this single, Brett enlisted his fellow nursing school student, Zack Tolley, to join the band as the rhythm guitarist. Executionist draws inspiration from old-school thrash outfits, such as Metallica, Kreator, Slayer, and Exodus, while also taking inspiration from newer metal acts, such as Warbringer, Invicta, Havok, and Raider. Currently, Executionist is writing material for their debut full-length record.
