“Also Known As” (AKA) has been a part of the Northern Colorado music scene since 1996.
They have played New West Fest, First Night, Loveland Arts and Lunch, and Windsor Harvest Festival to name a few.
Previously known as Prairie Dog Companion, they adopted AKA as their moniker because it represents the eclectic brand of Americana music they call “City and Western.”
You will hear covers and originals by the band and friends, but probably nothing you will hear on the radio.
Their goal is to give you a toe-tappin’ experience, and if you HAVE to get up and dance, all the better!
AKA plays for the love of music and enjoys entertaining for worthy causes.
They have supported many charity events in Northern Colorado including A Walk for Alzheimer, Rodder’s Benefit Car Shows, Strike Out Cancer, Eli’s Deli, Rist Canyon Mountain Festival, the Giving Machine, and Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine to name a few.
