"Hip Hop Encounter Single Release"

commoncover
Common is a smooth throwback style of tune that brings a fun and playful environment to music. With the market being oversaturated by records of violence, bitches and hoes, Androyd87 felt that bringing something different to the landscape would be something beneficial not only to party goers but also for the music industry.

“I bring something different to the game. I like laughing and having fun. I put that in my music and I hope others can have fun when they hear me” states Androyd87.

The track was produced by Sam Peezy. The record will be released under the OIG (Odd Individual Gang) Records, which is owned and operated by Androyd87 under the direction of his management (Soulairium Music Group). “Common” is set for a late Spring/early Summer national digital release with a video to follow shortly after. - Hip Hop Encounter Media Group

Bio

Raised on almost every side of his home town of Macon Georgia Androyd87 (Steven M. Minniefield) was able to adjust to his environment and adapt various parts of his surroundings from each residence and neighborhood in which he resided.

At the age of 12, Androyd (going by the name Trill) picked up a microphone and began to record music with a relative. It was apparent then that his childhood was shaped by the hatred and bitterness of not fitting, being "different" and not like the other local rappers in his area. Not knowing the true potential of his talent and yet filled with determination, Androyd87 began to out-shine, out-last and out-perform his peers. After seeing the validity of his God given talent he decided to seriously take strides to become a performer.

By the age of 15, Androyd87 (now going by the name Dartk) moved to the eastside of Macon and joined a rap group by the name of Menace Mobb. It was in this group that Androyd87 learned the art of being a lyricist, which laid the fundamentals for the style that he delivers today as Androyd87.

Feeling that the name Dartk would bring a unwanted fan base of thugs and gangsters Androyd renamed himself Boogie Black for better appeal to his fans. He then began making efforts to gain the attention of his city. This attention wasn't coming fast enough. So for the next few years he withdrew from Rap spotlight and took to the background where he took a more observatory and watchful view of the rap game. It was during this process that he decided to embrace the different parts of his upbringing and once again renamed himself. It was then that Androyd87 was re-born.

Ready to get back in action Androyd87 started a team of upcoming artist by the name of S.O.U.T.H. ENTERTAINMENT. This team would be a reflection of himself and yet still be individual artist with their own identity. This group of young individuals were looked at as being different but possessed more talent than most people realized. With the strong heads and promotions from the movement, each individual group and/or act began to grow and be identified in their town. Androyd87 began to perfect his delivery even more with wild punchlines, blunt attitude, and animated delivery. With this new kind of fan and increased confidence in his ability, he dropped his first mixtape "DA INJECTION" and it quickly became a city favorite.

It was during the production of this project that he met his manager Fletcher Batts.
Armed with an even stronger focus, a plan of action and unwaivering determination, Androyd87 is on a sure path to success.
