Listen closely to APOLLO’S GIRL and you’ll be met with a confession wrapped into a dark and dreamy landscape. Fully formed in May 2023, the Lehigh Valley trio is comprised of Sarah Apollonia as lead singer and guitarist, Jared Snyder on drums and vocals, and Chelsea Soto on bass. Soft vocals pair with shoegaze inspired guitar tones and a rhythm section reminiscent of the 90s alternative scene to bring you moody songs comparable to the likes of Hole, Lush, The Cranberries and Mazzy Star. Their latest release, ‘Baby’s Getting Sick of Me’, takes the dream-pop 90s feel into the 2010s with a blend of emoting instrumentals that utilize a full dynamic range and youthful sad girl vocals, blending a raw feeling with post-production tricks to define the song into a modern indie ballad.
