ATLANTA, Ga., July 7, 2017- The 2016 Georgia Music Award winners for “Rock Video of the Year,” Avenue of the Giants (AOTG) are taking 2017 by storm, “Whisper to Lions,” infuses a blend of rock & roll, and electronic dance music (EDM), and releases pre-orders on Friday, July 14, to all digital media outlets. The LP will officially release on July 28. The talented veteran artists and producers of 25 plus years have taken creativity to another level by collaborating with Tree Sound Studios-Atlanta.

 Fazal ‘Foz” Syed, of the former band REHAB brings passion to the album as lead guitarist, writer, and producer along with Darrick Atwater as lead vocalist, whose inspirations helped to write and produce the diverse album tracks. Integral influences of the 11-track pop-rock album, “Whisper to Lions,” includes Mike Ferrell (drums) who has worked with country rap artist Big Smo, Tyler Sherard (bass guitar) who has gained experience with Grammy & Dove Award Winner, Rudy Currence, and Max Aden (guitarist, vocals) who is currently a student at the University of Georgia in musically renowned Athens, GA. 

Clifton Collins, Jr. directed “For the Win,” which received the 2016 “Rock Video of the Year,” at the GA Music Awards. In addition, AOTG exploded online with the video of mash up single “Life Less Criminal" featuring David Banner, Rittz, Sa-Roc the MC, exceeding 47,000 views since its release. Track number seven, “Victory" features Will Turpin from legendary rock group Collective Soul on keys and features Grammy winner Morgan Garcia on co-production. 

Exhilarate your mind with beats that are influenced by artists such as the Police, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus, and Michael Jackson. Avenue of the Giants(AOTG) has self-produced two albums since 2013, while touring across the United States, and released four critically acclaimed videos. The album is a musical and lyrical mix that makes you jump up and bang your head to funky high energy grooves, or just laying back and doing some soul-searching about everyday life. Album artwork was created by Skam2, who has also created artwork for artists such as Eminem, Tribe Called Quest, and Dizzy Wright. 

The veteran talented musicians joined together and put in 1000’s of hours over nearly 2 years to craft the pop rock masterpiece.
