Ayyee Luv is one of the hottest up and coming artists in the hip hop community. Born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, Ayyee Luv makes his locale the focal point of all his tracks, both lyrically and musically. Luv sees the trials and tribulations of his fellow man and uses them as creative inspiration in all his tracks.
Ayyee Luv has been rapping so long that he pre-dates the sound East Coast Hip Hop is primarily known for. Growing up the son of a legendary DJ, he idolized the musicians and the people that made the music industry work. Unlike the rock and pop artists out at the time, he identified with rappers the most. They were just regular people, except with big messages blended in their tracks; real messages they acquired from living hard and grinding it out until they found success. Luv knew these artists were staying true to what they loved. He started rapping and never looked back, aspiring to be the best.
In 2015, Ayyee Luv released his full length album, “Monroe”, to wide critical acclaim. The album has a feel all its own. During course of the sixteen tracks there are tracks that have old school energy, out of a time and era where rap and hip hop were the sounds of a hot summer day. Other tracks on the record contain instrumental layering and arrangements that are structured and intelligent, a testament to Ayyee Luv’s dedication to his art. Each track has one thing in common: they all have beats built for dancing. Moving forward, Ayyee Luv continues to create and diversify his social media content allowing fans access to exclusive content. Expect big things this year from Ayyee Luv, not that you’ll have a choice; starting this summer Ayyee Luv will be blowing out speakers everywhere.
