"Bad Nuze ft. Rapper Big Pooh & CyHi The Prynce - Fight (Remix)"

I’ve got some good news and some Bad Nuze, Booth readers. The good news is that we’ve got some quality music from a veteran West Coast emcee for y’all. And the Bad Nuze… uh… that’s the emcee’s name. Sorry, that sounded more clever in my head. Moving right along, the official remix of Fight features guest contributions from two DJBooth faves. In addition to the headliner’s passionate commentary on racial discrimination, delivered over Derelle Rideout‘s jazzy keys and synth-brass, this rendition of the cut boasts similarly fiery 16s from G.O.O.D. Music‘s CyHi The Prynce and Little Brother alum Rapper Big Pooh. Featuring Fight‘s album version and much more, The Liez And Rumorz LP is available now for free digital download. - DJ Z @djbooth

The Liez And Rumorz LP

Bad Nuze is back on the scene promoting his latest project,The Liez and Rumorz LP.  Hailing from Pasadena, CA, Bad Nuze is the latest emcee delivering the new sound of the west coast.  Nuze grew up in northwest Pasadena in a tight-knit community shriving to rise above his city’s share of poverty and violence.  “My name Bad Nuze came about from me always delivering some kind of message in my music; whether it was good or bad,” Nuze describes.  Rapping since a kid, Nuze took his craft serious after learning audio engineering in school.

As a few years passed, Bad Nuze realized he could illustrate his upbringing and his city’s experiences through vivid wordplay.  Walking his own path, Nuze sets out to carve his own lane yet incorporate his musical influences to deliver his own sound.  “Hip hop influenced me.  I was born into the hip hop era so I think hip hop has shaped me into the person I am today.”  Being a native of the west coast, it may be obvious veterans such as 2Pac and Snoop Dogg have influenced Nuze, but the emcee has a great appreciation of emcees from the east coast as well.  “Nas gave me his intellectual street knowledge.  Talib Kweli and Yassin Bey gave me wordplay, knowledge and wittiness,” states the west coast emcee.  Nuze also looks up to DJ Quik for the production value he has provided over the years. Bad Nuze eventually linked with his current manager Jay Benjaman and together they both built a music factory.

After dropping his first project Front Page Nuze, Bad Nuze received the respect from his peers he fought so hard to achieve.  Since his first project, Bad Nuze has release various mixtapes including Topik of Diskushun: The Prequel, and Bringing The Heat To The Streets Vol. 13 featuring Talib Kweli, and Walks The Runner.  As his music spread throughout Cali, Nuze has performed on stage as the opener for Kurupt, Bad Azz, Glasses Malone, Lazy Bone, B.O.B., and Ty Dolla $ign.  “I describe my music as real life story-telling.  A visual description of my opinions and thoughts,”Nuze explains.  No stranger to trials and tribulations, Nuze has face many set backs, mostly from family and so-called friends.  With his eye on the prize, Nuze developed a fan base, one fan at a time.  “As long as one person gets something out of my music, I’m great.  That’s an accomplishment within itself,” adds Nuze.

Looking to emerge from the onslaught of new talent from the west, Bad Nuze sets himself apart with his recent release, The Liez And Rumorz LP.  “I want to set myself apart and solidify myself as one of the next new-comers coming from the west with substance.  I have something to say in my music, not conforming to what others do,” the emcee proudly proclaims.  The kid from Pasadena who barely had a voice loudly states, “On The Liez and RumorzLP, I want to address some of the critics, friends, and family that have been hating and doubting me for a long time.”

The Liez and Rumorz LP is another chapter in Bad Nuze’sgrowing catalog.  This LP features collaborations from Rapper Big Pooh, Cyhi Da Prince, Bobby Capri, andGerald Walker.  The production is provided by Derelle Rideout of Elusive Orchestra, LA Ment, and Top Flight Productionz.  “Musically, I want to reach people.  One day, I want to be able to feed my family with my music but I really just want my kids to a have someone to look up to”.  From balancing the pendulum of changing relationships with friends and family to walking a decaying path of true lyricism, Bad Nuze is set to soar above the rest into legendary status.
