Still working on that hot first release.

Feeling a bit camera shy

Phoenix, Arizona. Unveiling the new debut EP Sinners & Saints set to release April 14, 2017 is sure to take The Valley of the Sun by storm! The name “Rainwater,” is a very familiar name and a sounding one in the Phoenix area, as he was formerly the frontman, singer and guitar player for the band Common Ground Country, “CGC.”

The band Performed gigs all over the valley from 2000 to 2005 right from, The Arizona State Capitol for the legislature/Chamber of Commerce luncheon, The Arizona Biltmore Country Club, The Silver Pony Saloon, The Tin Top Bar 8; Grill, and to various other clubs, corporate events, weddings and grand openings across the Valley.

In 2005, CGC came to an abrupt end when Calvin Bainwater’s best friend, business partner and drummer, fell ill with a severe debilitating spinal disease. Calvin walked away from the Phoenix live music scene, and took refuge in his home studio where he withdrew from limelight and began putting his pen to work.

In mid 2016 Calvin Rainwater decided to reveal some of his greatest works. Teaming up with Nashville producer, Stacy Hogan and recording three of Rainwater‘s most recent songs; Sinners & Saints, God Sent Me An Angel and If We Could Go Fishing One More Time.

Rainwater exhibits these three tracks along with three others that he had previously written and recorded in his home studio to showcase on his new EP titled “Sinners & Saints.” Rainwater’s storytelling lyrics, complex arrangements and dynamic vocals will be sure to impress and ensure that even the most captious of listeners are fully blown away by his performances.

“This is the type of musical and vocal talent that real country music fans have been craving for since the days of The Highwaymen. The world should prepare itself for new music from Calvin that can only be described as "'epic'.” says Tim McGreevy, owner of Shamrock Talent Management LLC and spokesperson for Calvin Rainwater.
