Chloé The Violet

Raised in Philadelphia, Cambridge (UK), and Shanghai, Chloé The Violet puts a worldly, cinematic twist into her narrative songwriting. Chloé Violet Millett is a nineteen year old film & psychology student in Los Angeles who began writing songs when she was ten. Growing up she starred in dozens of musicals and plays, always inspired to perform. A lifelong creative, she fuses her interest in cinematic arts with her music. Her fixation on gritty, psychological thriller movies has helped fuel the theme of her upcoming releases. Chloé hopes to connect to others with her music, trying to enunciate the feelings society often withdraws from the public. She writes intuitively and from the heart, stating “A pensive mind that never stops ticking eventually gives you a song when you tune in to the melody of the ticking”. Her musical inspirations include Lady Gaga, Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, Gorrilaz, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Lana del Rey, and Daft Punk.
