Wize and Sultra formed CPHR DVN while stationed together in the military in Honolulu, HI. Their metaphysical hip-hop is influenced by sounds of Cape Verde (whence Sultra's parents hail), reggae, Trip-Hop (ie., Poritshead), East Coast hip-hop, avant-garde singers like Bjork, new age space sounds etc.; and funkily interspersed with socio-political, positive, thought-provoking lyrics of a multidimensional nature designed to express love and healing -- with a danceable beat.
To summarize in their own words, they are Hip-Hop alchemists, space age super heroes, and quantum dancers.
They have released several projects, the most recent being 2019's Light Body.
