It sounds more like a concept for an off kilter art project than a good idea for a band, but there is a forged chemistry between instrumentalist / engineer Brent Larsen and yapper / dilettante Jake Danna that can be felt in this oddball attempt to shove art rock a step in the wrong direction.  Patched together over intersections of opposing disciplines; poetry, synthesis, drums, even hints of industrial noise, the music contains a sonic quality that is hard to pinpoint with a specific genre but leans toward a dense, overwritten, and meticulously produced concept that is as fun as it is stirring.

Media vectors and hand held devices have become the Orwellian boot on the face of history as well as instruments for documenting history. This paradox is explained with a cracked sense of humor that is scathing in accuracy; Songs written to a species, bedtime stories recited to sleeping smart phones, these songs are  to be encountered in terms of their own space. A foolish, preoccupied, obsessive, turgid attempt at music. Pock marked with literary references, gnashed at by textures, a particular style or trope shed in favor of experimentation. It doesn't sound like what you have heard before.
