Inspired by the new wave of progressive music, Echolapse has combined their love of melody and atmosphere, with the low-end grooves associated with modern metal. The final product is a unique sound that remains listenable to fans of all genres, without sacrificing the musicianship and craft progressive music fans have come to expect. Echolapse's vision for a massive sound, layered with vocal harmonies, atmosphere, and clarity, was ultimately fulfilled with the help of Aaron Smith of Envisage Audio and the band 7 Horns 7 Eyes. Their debut album "Deadlight" clocks in at over an hour, flowing seamlessly from start to finish, maintaining a direction that further defines their signature sound. Mastering was done by famous Tesseract guitarist Acle, with the album officially releasing in September of 2015.
