ELIS is a seventeen year old songwriter and performer, with her debut single out and more music on the way. By mixing the classic and new wave rock n' roll genre with complex lyricism and modern issues, her perspective is both refreshing and captivating. ELIS started writing songs at the age of seven, and taught herself guitar four years later when she was in the sixth grade. Her influences range from Taylor Swift to David Bowie! ELIS uses music as a form of protest and self declaration, and is a firm believer in using music as a tool for change.
