"E Minor Dusts Off New Album"

E Minor is a minor scale in music based on the note E - and it also happens to be the stage moniker of aspiring local singer/songwriter Elizabeth Minor, who's been causing a buzz around Traverse City with her "smoky folk" melodies. She's obviously got enough happening musically to fund that album and keep her fan base continually growing. - Kristi Kates - The Northern Express

"E Minor's Debut Album: Dust Out Of Sand"

It can only be a matter of time before Minor starts attracting the attention of major music publications, TV, radio and record labels. "Dust Out Of Sand" is simply too good a record to be ignored, with a surplus of great tracks that should be gracing grown-up, late night radio on both sides of the Atlantic. - Phil S. -Leicester Bangs

"E Minor's Beautiful Dungeon"

Very seldom do I find a song that is powerful enough to force me to slow down, take a breath and drift into a state of sincere self-reflection. For me, E Minor's Beautiful Dungeon shot a haunting message of conviction strait into my soul. - NM3 Magazine

Still working on that hot first release.

With sweet and smoky melodies, E Minor has an unmistakable folk flavor, with a hint of an old jazz and blues influence.

Originally from Mackinaw City/Cheboygan areas in Michigan, E Minor is now based in Traverse City, MI. Elizabeth Minor has been a singer/songwriter practically from birth. She started out playing with her father and sisters as a child, and by 11 years old she grew into her own in music. Although she didn't turn to music fully as a profession until later in life, E Minor had many musical experiences as a young child with her family band. Including her first ever performance in Ireland at age 11. Since then Elizabeth has released her debut album "Dust Out Of Sand" (2013), and has toured nationally spreading her signature "smoky folk" at many well known breweries, theaters, and music festivals. E Minor is often accompanied by a wide verity of instruments backing up her original music. Including Steel Guitarist Joe Wilson and home made upright bass player Caul Bluhm. E Minor captivates audiences with smooth soothing vocals, and stories of life, love, travels, and her spiritual view on society today. Whether she has a full band, playing solo, or as a duet you are sure to find yourself lost in the lyrics and haunting vocals of E Minor's unique style.
