Still working on that hot first release.

Hailing from the outskirts of a blue-collar border town in Canada, Eric Ethridge’s journey to country music is one that could be reflected in a country song. He began to play guitar at a young age and started penning lyrics while in high school. Around the same time, he was the captain of his high school football team, which led him to pursue varsity football at Western University. While at school in London, ON, he was a regular feature at many clubs and bars, constantly honing his craft and growing his name amongst the local crowd.

During his time away at school Ethridge never lost touch with his down home roots. As he says in his song ‘With You’, “I may be broke, but I’m rich in many ways.” This is a saying that Ethridge often heard from his father while growing up, and it’s a perspective that he takes to heart.

In the beginning of 2014, Ethridge teamed up with a new manager, Jordyn Elliott and producer Randy Solski, guitarist for the independent Canadian country phenomenon ‘Dry County’, to record some of his newer songs. Ethridge has a unique and powerful sound, which blends country with his southern rock roots, and engaging lyrics that relate to his listeners. These songs received a great response from press and fans alike, and brought opportunities to perform alongside some of the top names in country music.

Ethridge is known for his hard work ethic and as he continues to build his craft as a performer and songwriter, it is very evident that big things are to come. Currently, he is preparing for his first full-length release, and is co-writing many songs with his fiddle player Matt Piché, a two-time Juno nominee. As new songs pour in, excitement is growing amongst his team and band mates.
