The sounds of Honey Wild are just as its name would suggest: smooth and sweet, yet unrestrained. Pairing honest lyrics with jazzy chords and thunderous beats, Honey Wild is bluesy, sultry, high-energy rock and roll.
The band was founded in 2018 by singer-songwriter Hana Denson, whose soulful voice has been compared to Sarah Vaughn and Pat Benatar. The five-piece band includes guitarist and songwriter Cristian Fernandez, drummer Russ Grimm, bassist Michael Notarmaso, and keyboardist Daniel Rofer.
Honey Wild has been gigging frequently throughout the tri-state area since August of 2019. The first track off their debut self-titled EP (November 2019) was named "song of the year" by New Jersey Stage Magazine.
