Raspberry Jam is a progressive indie band from Greenfield Massachusetts. Initially inspired by bands such as The Strokes and Sublime, they have evolved into a Post-DeMarco sound that incorporates elements of progressive rock. Originally formed in 2014 by guitarist Mac Almeida, and drummer Milou Rigollaud, Raspberry Jam has added members to its ranks. Bassist Josh Gibson was added not long after in late 2014, singer Alouette Batteau in 2017, and guitarist Rufus Seward in 2018. They remain a staple band of the area playing at the famous Green River Festival, as well as frequenting the Iron Horse Music Hall, and Hawks and Reed Preforming Arts Center. The evolution between their first two albums is the result of more mature songwriting, and a refined musical vocabulary. Their third album looks to push the genre of indie music past the stereotypes and into something revolutionary.
