"Duffy's Tavern"

"Playing a mix of original songs and covers Ravyn Red kept you thoroughly entertained throughout. Their original song ‘Smell The Roses’ was extremely well done and was one of their best original songs in our opinion. What really blew us away were Melissa’s stunning vocals on the bands covers of ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta Ft. Sia and ‘Bad Romance’ by Lady Gaga. Her vocal range on ‘Bad Romance’ was extremely impressive and the bands overall take on the song made it a fun experience for the audience." - MarchToTheBeat

Bio

Ravyn Red is a pop/rock band that formed the summer of 2009 in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Originally consisting of Peter Han on keyboards and Melissa Cornacchia as lead vocalist, session musicians filled in the instrumentation for larger shows. In early 2012 Tyler Reznick was added as the permanent drummer/percussionist followed by Andrew Ferguson on the bass in the summer.

Ravyn Red recently returned from a successful two week trip to New York City performing and getting involved in the city's music scene. The band is currently working on their first full length album, and has their first EP set to be released later this year. They have also performed at the International Pop Overthrow Music Festival 2012 in Toronto.

The band has a varied musical tastes given the different backgrounds of its members but collectively cite Lady Gaga, Fireflight, and Evanescence as influences. Ravyn Red strives to make organic, hard edged pop-rock music to resonate with their audiences, letting the music speak for itself.
