Bio
RGB is an up and coming band in the Austin, Texas area with a fun and geeky flavor. We play music from and inspired by classic video games like Super Mario, Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog, and many more in a variety of fun styles. In addition, RGB has several classic rock songs in their catalog.
The band formed in March of 2014 to play some video game covers at a retro gaming event at Southwestern University and since then, their repertoire has vastly expanded. Our lineup includes Jefferson on keyboard and guitar, Tyler on guitar, Joey K on the drums, and Joey S on bass.
When asked what "RGB" stands for, the band' stance is that it doesn't stand for anything, except what you want it to. When you hear the name, it's just supposed to make you think "video games".
RGB enjoys collaborating with other artists in creating great live and online content. RGB has even dabbled in composition and is currently scoring an upcoming game.
RGB's shows are fun, energetic, and show real love for the music of video games.
