Skribble Music & Art Project

With deep soul-shattering bass and catchy riffs influenced by hip hop, jazz, and world music - Wes King and Shelby Cauthen are the visionaries behind Skribble: a unique blend of mind-dazzling visuals and psychedelic bass.  After their initial breakout set as direct support for Niraya and SLZRD in Mobile AL, Skribble was immediately asked to play an additional five events around the city over the coming months.  At Hulaween music festival in Live Oak FL, Wes and Shelby attracted over 300 people to a renegade set, demonstrating their keen attention to musical detail and top tier song selection for the largest crowd to date.

The idea behind Skribble was born in 2015 from the heartfelt desire to do something more with the audio-visual DJ experience.  With over 35 years of combined musical experience, and Wes's 10 years of experience in software development, the team has been developing a full-blown virtual reality bass music experience that can be deployed at silent DJ setups at festivals nationwide.  Skribble has a deep love for putting on more than just a show for their fans, and they believe very deeply in going above and beyond to create musical experiences that will be remembered for years to come.

As producers, Wes and Shelby have released a number of impressive songs, including their floor-shaking remix of Conrank's "Drum in Time", their trap-inspired mosh tune "Mob Mentality", as well as their high energy DNB/dubstep-inspired mix "ape$hit".  Skribble also has a very impressive catalog of unreleased material that they are currently working towards releasing an album in May of 2022.  This album promises some of the dirtiest riffs as well as the most impressive sound design that Skribble has ever created.

Most recently, Skribble has relocated operations to Pensacola FL, where they are eager to begin playing shows and collaborating with other talented musicians in the area.  Keep an eye on this dynamic bass duo, as they are sure to be a well recognized collaboration within the bass music scene for many years to come.
