"SoleGC – Ride On Your Own"

SoleGC is a prolific emcee hailing from New Jersey. He delivers an east coast sound that is on the border of back pack and raw hip-hop and it’s undeniable. Tending to the ears of older heads and new age listeners alike, SoleGC has a presence both on record and on stage. For his latest release, Sole delivers visuals for the Madlib-produced “Ride On Your Own” off his Vintage Happy Hour project. - ItsBizkit

"SoleGC – Daze (Prod. by L’Orange) @SoleGC"

"I saw SoleGC perform at an event in Jersey yesterday and was impressed with his performance. I haven’t peeped his album yet but I will just on the strength of his performance." - Stroydnaire

Still working on that hot first release.

An Emcee hailing from New Jersey, SoleGC has built a sound that borders the lines of back pack and raw street hip hop. His sound is based on the love for the 90's golden era (Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-One, Nas, Rakim, Big Pun, etc.) but his witty word play brings listeners from all ages and eras to appreciate that classic sound.

No gimmicks straight to the lyrics. Since GC turned 16 years old he began performing spoken word poetry in his high school and throughout all boroughs of New York City, he knew that on stage a pure live presence had to be felt. From then on SoleGC's main goal has been bringing exciting, electrifying energy whether on stage or recorded on wax.

Performing alongside and opening up for Underground legends such as Homeboy Sandman, Joel Ortiz, Blu, Torae, Kaimbr, Kev Brown, Oddisee, Low Budget Crew, and DJ Quik, SoleGC has created a name, a sound, as well as his own style by combining all the legend's influences into one.

ALL of SoleGC's releases can be found on his bandcamp website starting with the critically acclaimed underground classic 'The Writers EP' where SoleGC delivers timeless lyrics over beats produced by Chi Chi and SoleGC himself. From there on SoleGC released a raw tape rhyming alongside Chi Chi as the duo Tri State Bandoleros called 'Last Of The PoRicans'. Then another smooth project titled 'Vintage Happy Hour'. Be on the lookout for more work as SoleGC plans to release numerous mysterious projects and an entire project produced by Mainframe of Johnson & Jonson.
