Sonny Padilla: Vocalist, Bass Guitar 01 October 2015 I began playing at age 15, for Jr. High Schools to High School dances and house parties. Went on to continue playing for high schools and college dances as well as other social events. Also, I went in to the studios to record with various local groups. Eventually, I performed on the road doing Chicago tours, and also, I played the circuit of Ramada Inns and Hilton Inns. Later, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where I played the Casino circuits for the next thirty years. Then, after I retired, I moved back to my home town of Las Cruces, New Mexico, where I began playing again locally with my Favorite musician friends.

Rudy Apodaca: Keyboards 01 October 2015 Rudy, originally from Las Cruces, NM, was inspired to be a musician at a very young age by his Dad and uncles who played guitar at family gatherings. Rudy played guitar with his first band at the age of 14, of which Sonny Padilla was also member, and after about 33 years apart Rudy and Sonny are now performing together again. Rudy started with guitar and then played saxophone in middle and high school symphonic, marching and jazz bands. After high school, Rudy became self-taught on the Hammond Organ inspired by the Godfather of Soul, none other than the internationally famous James Brown. Rudy has performed with countless musical groups over the years, and has made recordings. Rudy has performed with warm-up acts for recording artists such as Spiral Staircase, El Chicano, The Coasters, The Platters, and famous Tex-Mex groups, as well as famous tribute bands. Rudy also toured the Southwestern United States extensively with a Las Vegas style of show group, where he was the Musical Director, responsible for arranging and composition. In his musical career, Rudy has performed various styles of music such as classic rock, jazz, rhythm and blues, blues, funk, soul , top forty, latin, country western, classical, doo-wop, along with some of his original compositions.

Jaime Trujillo: Vocalist, Drums 01 October 2015

I have been playing drums for 50 years, having started at the age of 11 years. I have played with several groups from Mesilla and Las Cruces, New Mexico. I toured with a group named Phorce, which was later renamed New Mexico. The musical group New Mexico performed at every United States Air Force base on an U. S. Air Force Showcase tour. I did record an album with the musical group New Mexico. Also, I performed at various concerts, as a warm-up act, for Tower of Power, Sister Sledge, Cameo, The Bob Hope Show, Evelyn Champagne ~ing, Malo, El Chicano, Tierra, and many more. I played with the Krucez Band for over 20 years, and recorded 2 albums with them. Now, I am enjoying myself and playing with some of my best friends with a group by the name of Steppin' Up. We plan to record and hopefully play for many years to come. I have met some wonderful people over the many years of my musical career. God Bless You All!
