"Alternative Press"

If you don't hear about Summertime Dropouts soon, you've failed-not them. - AP&R

"Highwire Daze"

Rewind by Summertime Dropouts is that rare album where each and every tracks stands out and shines. - Kenneth Morton

"PopMatters"

...their sound is one that’s bound to be a hit among ponk-loving youth looking for their own Blink. - Zachary Houle

"Pure Grain Audio"

This is not a heavy record by any means, but I really dig it. If it gets the exposure it deserves, I think Summertime Dropouts will have a big success on their hands. - Bruce Moore

"Lucas Gambit"

Rewind is sure to send you straight back to your high school summer days of drumming on the dashboard, head-banging with your windows down as you drive to the nearest body of water. - Karyn Shaw

"Truth or Sarah"

SD hits the nail on the head with the love song, “Amie.” It’s dance-inducing and will make girls want to change their names to Amie. It screams Radio Disney Top 3, with its sickeningly sweet and infectious chorus. It even has the best bridge with gang vocals you’ll die over. - Sarah B

"Jp's Music Blog"

The energetic pop-punk band has the perfect soundtrack to your summer. Their songs are about summer love and catching rays, not bad for a band from Minnesota. Their fun, youthful sound makes you want to get to the beach, no matter where you’re from. - J Pasinski

Bio

On their debut album entitled “Rewind”, Minneapolis‐based Pop Rock band Summertime Dropouts has crafted an indelible collection of songs which transport the listener on a trip down memory lane to a time when life was much simpler and carefree, far removed from the burdens of a complex world.

Since "Rewind,” Summertime has pursued many interesting projects. Apart from their dedication to producing quality music, the band members are also committed to interacting with their fans. After a discussion on Twitter about potatoes with their followers, Summertime has released their very own e-book titled "100 Things to do with a Potato.” Summertime was also proud to be interviewed by Bryan Stars in a hilarious discussion and several unforgettable
moments. In addition, the band has produced several exciting and educational YouTube videos; the most (in)famous being a workout video titled "Move It Around."

Summertime Dropouts has released two official music videos for their songs “Full Time Cutie” and “1999” which have had a variety of adds including MTV Latin American, Universal Studios, MTV.comVH1.com, and a variety of other retail pool placements. The band is excited to announce that they are currently working on their highly-anticipated second studio album entitled "No Diving" which is scheduled for release December 2nd.

From a musical perspective, the band draws inspiration from bands like All‐American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Blink‐182 and Sum 41 to create a musical masterpiece brimming with pure pop punk magic.

Executive Producer Clint Gibbs, who has been involved with a string of commercially successful songs from big‐name artists, states, “their skill and dedication to the music is on par with the ’A’ crop of major label acts. After hearing the Summertime demos I knew they had a great record ahead of them.”
