"The Wilderness - 'Seminary Road'"

So, here is the part where I usually wrap up the review, yet I am struggling to find words meaningful enough to pay justice to what might be the best band I’ve stumbled upon in a very long time. There is a saying that "when words fail, music speaks" and The Wilderness embody this quote. To put it another way, I’m speechless - they are that good. The Wilderness has everything it takes to make it very big – follow this band, not for the fame and glory, but for the amazing music that will remind you of why we listen to music in the first place. Record labels take note - The Wilderness has that "certain something" that gets under you skin in the best way. - Please Pass the Indie

"The Wilderness Are Ready To Blast Off, Fall (Despite What You Do) Is the Powerful New Single…and consider me their newest fan"

On the road for the last several years performing over 400 shows all over North America, Kingston, Ontario based rockers The Wilderness are, in my humble opinion, on a trajectory to become one of the next biggest bands you haven’t heard yet.

Their new single Fall (Despite What You Do) is an emotionally powerful, rock single that contains all the proper elements to blast off into the mainstream as a rock radio, chart topping hit. I rarely make commentary such as this about indie music, however, The Wilderness are undeniably larger than life; with their sound, their work ethic, and everything in between.

As soon you as click play on Fall (Despite What You Do), your sensory system will be overwhelmed with an attention grabbing, highly infectious, emotionally potent, larger than life energy that will lead you to sharing this band with friends, adding them to your playlist, and checking their tour dates to see if they are coming to a location near you. - IMD (Indie Music Discovery)

"The Wilderness release emotional new single “Fall (Despite What You Do)”"

“Fall (Despite What You Do)” is a beautifully delivered look at the real emotions swirling through a touring band’s soul. Entrancing in its nature, the buzz of a saxophone captures your attention while warm vocals carry you through the song with a firm embrace. [...]

[...] The band has no signs of slowing down now with a breakout seemingly on the short horizon. Passionate and perseverant, The Wilderness have been taking North America by storm with their dedication to their band. As a band built on live performance, The Wilderness has mastered the art of grabbing attention. Their live energy is infectious and demands even the casual listener to perk up and get drawn into the excitement happening on stage. - Rick Eberle

In their newly released music video “Fall (Despite What You Do)” The Wilderness have created a captivating video portraying the way that while our lives sometimes feel they’re spiraling out of control, when we’re able to let go, watch it transpire, and simply find beauty within the process, we can learn so much more. - Infectious Magazine

"The Wilderness – Dancing In The Dive Bars"

With a steady stream of concerts and contests of their own, The Wilderness are showing they can’t be tamed. A fun E Street Band-esque jam complete with a glorious saxophone, and full of enough witticisms and whimsy to pack any Dive Bar in the world. Solidly produced and one of our top bands to watch! - For the Love of Bands

The Wilderness is the next big band you haven’t heard. However, the fans are talking about their over 400 live shows across the USA and Canada in the last four years alone.

The Wilderness is a sextet based in Kingston, ON that has a massive and mighty sound - a propulsive and potent indie rock fusion that has earned them comparisons to Bruce Springsteen, Mumford & Sons, The National and The Lumineers.

A truly international band composed of a Brit, a Frenchman, two Americans and two Canadians, The Wilderness formed in 2015. With an independently released EP to their credit - Seminary Road (2018) and six singles, "If I Have to Die" (2020) “Pick You Up” (2020), “Virginia Sapphire” (2019), “Fall (Despite What You Do)” (2019), “Dancing In The Dive Bars” (2018), “Hurry Up And Wait” (2018). On Aug. 21, 2020 The Wilderness finally released their long-awaited debut LP Until Tomorrow featuring the singles “Pick You Up”, “If I Have To Die” and “Graveyard” followed by the full-length Live album (Dec. 4, 2020) featuring the new single “Fire & The Wolves”.

The Wilderness has everything it takes to make it big. Simply put, follow this band - not for the fame and glory but for the amazing music and powerful live performance that will remind you of why we listen to music in the first place.

The Wilderness continue to build their fanbase the old fashioned way - through their sound, international touring, work ethic and, frankly, just being really good dudes.
