Black Cat Habitat is a shameless indie pop-rock band that puts on a sultry, raw performance every time they take stage. Their repertoire is dark, yet inviting.
They're coming back to Small World Coffee on Sat., Nov. 19th. Attendees can expect to once again experience frontwoman and lead-singer/songwriter Rachel McCullough, who captivates the listener with her vocals.
McCullough writes songs about finding one's self and the appropriate habitat to match. Though her vocals are relatively upbeat, her stage-presence carries with it a sense of mystery.

12/02/2015 They've got a little grit to them, and it makes them all the better. Black Cat Habitat has a touch of soul to their pop-rock repertoire, thanks to lead vocalist and singer-songwriter Rachel McCullough. She brings a sense of sweetness to their darker melodies.
Other members include Mike Carthan on bass and Danny Coleman on drums. The band takes stage at Small World Coffee in Princeton on Sat., Dec. 5 at 8:30. What's great about this venue is it's conduciveness to reverb. The intimate coffee house will turn into a bass amp (this group refuses to be background music).

They're back, and bigger.

Black Cat Habitat has been no stranger to area stages. Whether
in cozy coffee shops or larger brew pub venues like Triumph,
this indie-rock band has been churning out their own style of
'90s-esque for years. Their repertoire has nuggets of soul
collided with the jangle of guitar and rockin' choruses.
Black Cat Habitat is coming to the Small World Coffee stage on
Sat., June 2, backed by the newest addition: Neal Blumberg on
lead guitar. The other crew members include lead singer and
powerhouse Rachel McCullough, Tony Simpson on bass, and
Ron Kirkland on drums.

Attendees can expect songs off their two albums, Jam the
Signal (2016) and their debut, Read to Bruise (2011). Check
