Bio

Timothy Green, President and founder of Black Mask Records is originally from Trenton, NJ and has since relocated to the Atlanta, GA area. Green has been a staple in the East Coast Hip Hop community for years and is the driving force behind the movement which is destined to make it's mark in the music industry. Black Masks artists have performed in venues throughout
the east coast, and has partnered, and made regular appearances on the radio show "On The REEL Radio" in New Jersey.
They also support, and sponsor a team at the West End Little League in NJ, where a banner hangs recognizing Black Mask's involvement with it's home community. Black Mask's artist roster hosts one of the East Coasts hottest young producers: Timothy "Sice" Williams, son and Partner with Green. Williams says, "the label is dedicated and willing to grind in order to bring the world GOOD MUSIC". Green goes on to say, "our plan is to open doors to those who need exposure, while creating a powerful force in music". With so many other labels not giving its artist their full attention,

Black Mask has taken the opposite approach, and for the past 2 years Black Mask has taken the time out to properly develop the artist signed to its label. Most notably, Black Mask not only tutors its artist in music, but also regularly teaches its artist the business of music. These artists include both the hip hop & R&B genres. Black Mask's hip hop roster includes Trillz a.k.a MJ, Shaq a.k.a Holla Front, Travis a.k.a T-Ease, Timothy a.k.a "Sice" The Preacher, and Lady Don a female rapper. The two R&B artists on the roster include Miss Myasia & Tanzi. Some associates of Black Mask Records can be seen in movies, and have made appearances on MTV.

Sice:
Artist/Producer of Black Mask Records Timothy "Sice The Preacher" Williams was born in1983 in Trenton,New Jersey. As a child Sice was surrounded by different forms of negativity. He began to write poetry as a way to express how he felt and the things that were around him. When he was 6, he and his mother moved to Mt.Holly in search of a better life. Early in his childhood Sice knew that he wanted to pursue a career in music. As time progressed he began putting rhythm to his poetry and eventually began free styling and writing rhymes. By his freshman year in high school Sice had decided to put his love for music to use by becoming a DJ. He first began by spinning records in his room, for his family, and at his own parties.
By the end of his freshman year he had made a name for his self as Dj Persice by spinning records at house parties around New Jersey. His love for spinning records would lead him into another direction, instead of making the crowd move with his hands. It was time to move them with his words. Shortly after Sice and two of his cousins started a group called "Verbal Terrorist".
The group would spend countless hours doing songs but Sice quickly realized that the other group members weren't as serious about the craft as he was. Due to life situations the group split and Sice was once again a solo artist. He continued writing and recording songs and eventually met another artist Valon "Fatboi" Warren that was as dedicated to the music as he was. They created another group called "Leadin The Blind" . The two would do songs morning, noon, and night while also hustling to buy equipment to move forward toward there dream. After dropping 3 mixtapes and doing numerous features. "Leadin The Blind" decided to join forces with two other childhood friends Byron "Black Collar Biz"Marshall and Curt "Da King" Moore to form a super group called "Heart Of The City".
The group quickly made a name for themselves by doing shows up and down the east coast. With their hard beats and sharp lyrics people from all walks of life and from all around the world began to follow the group whose main goal was to make classic music. In 2006 Sice and Heart Of The City dropped their first mixtape, "From The Ground Up". The group continued to progress in the music world but due to life's ups and downs and creative differences the group split and Sice was back once again as a solo artist. After starting and independent record label Black Mask Records with his his father, Sice decided to focus more on his production and the business side of his craft. In 2009 Sice and label mate T-Ease began doing songs together on a regular basis. Now with all of his experiences with being in groups Sice is prepared to open up new doors with his music. In 2010 Sice and Black Mask Records dropped they're first mixtape compilation "Everybody Wears a Mask Vol.1" with a wide variety of artist that they've met along the way. So today Sice is gearing up to drop his first solo mixtape/EP "Left Me No Choice Vol.1". With a variety of diffrent producers and artist Sice stays on his path to keep his music pure and reality based. In the words of Sice" Ima be me Today,Tomorrow, and Forever"
