"BYRON NEMETH RELEASES NEW INSTRUMENTAL "ENGINES OF THUNDER"; AUDIO STREAMING"

Guitarist/composer Byron Nemeth has just finished a brand new instrumental song, entitled “Engines Of Thunder”. Stylistically it’s a “Tip-Of-The-Hat” to the early Satriani and Hendrix vibe when there was strong emphasis on composition and lyrical soloing with catchy hooks and unique twists in the guitar.

“Engines Of Thunder” was recorded in Apple Logic Pro X with the Universal Audio Apollo Twin QUAD using only the UA Marshall JMP 2203 and Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555 plug-in’s for that amazing legendary Marshall sound. Guitar of choice is a hot rodded Jackson USA Signature Adrian Smith San Dimas Stratocaster with a EVH D-Tuna System and run thru a Morley DJ Ashba Skeleton Pedal for that classic Wah-Wah sound. - Bravewords

"BYRON NEMETH RELEASES “YOU KNOW IT’S TRUE” MUSIC VIDEO"

The official music video for Byron Nemeth’s new single, “You Know It’s True”, can be seen below. The single will be available on Spotify, iTunes and all digital platforms in October.

Created by Timo Wuerz, when he first heard the lyrics it made him think of a passage, an initiation from an old version of one self to a new one and the design was born and makes a perfect match to the music.

The recording the new Byron Nemeth single / video "You Know It's True" began on July 12, 2021 at Blackbird Studio Studio A in Nashville. Joining Byron in the recording are some of Nashville’s finest hard rock players: Zach Ballard / drums, Luis Espaillat / bass and Steve Braun / vocals. Tim Dolbear from Eclectica Studios who has mixed records for Grammy winners and labels produced the single. The recording was done the old-school way with all four members of the band tracking in the studio at the same time for optimum musical chemistry.

Blackbird Studio is one of the preeminent studios in the world founded by John McBride, and his wife, country artist Martina McBride. The Blackbird complex includes nine studios and The Blackbird Academy a post-secondary audio engineering school. - Bravewords

"BYRON NEMETH: “THE VIDEO CHRONICLES REIMAGINED” ALBUM REVIEW"

In celebration of the upcoming album from Steel Panther, Heavy Metal Rules, SkullsnBones and the Bad Boys of Spandex, Bandanas and Damp Mom Jeans are looking for the hidden gems in unsigned underground metal. So, meet Byron Nemeth, guitar-slinger extrordinaire.

Originally hailing from Ohio, Nemeth now makes his home in the hot deserts of Arizona. We had the chance to listen to his release, The Video Chronicles Reimagined, and it hits all the right notes, literally and figuratively. He’s toured with everyone – and, I mean everyone! Doro, Metal Church, Pat Travers, Wrathchild America, Zakk Wylde, and the list keeps going. He is definitely a guitarist in the vein of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and his playing is precise and can cut like a razor or be as soft as a fluffy little kitty when it needs to be.

The Video Chronicles Reimagined is a nice four-track EP showing what he can do. His ace in the hole is vocalist Mark Boals who sang on some early Yngwie Malmsteen albums and is pretty damned good. He has a solid voice that should warrant some attention from the music industry and fans alike.

So, it’s always cool here at SkullsnBones when we are treated to new music. If you’re a guitar geek, check out Byron Nemeth. He’s definitely paid his dues and deserves a bigger audience when on the road. And, from SkullsNBones, Steel Panther, and King Rhino, keep it metal and stay safe in the pit bitches!

The Video Chronicles Reimagined is out now. Buy it here!

We Believe Heavy Metal Rules!

Byron Nemeth’s Solo Career

Following his education, in 1999, Byron launched his own solo career with the release of his first album: Byron Nemeth Group. The album laid the groundwork for a progressive, yet melodic style that became the trademark Byron sound for decades to come. His biggest album hits, “Millennium Machine” and “Two Moon Sky,” tapped into a new kind of playfulness that wasn’t, at the time, popular in his style of music. The Reimagined Byron Nemeth Group was recently released in 2018.

Whetting his appetite for songwriting and performance, Byron released 2000, a completely self-product and performed project. With hit singles “Machines of Ice,” “High Speed Life,” and “Summer’s New Day,” Byron began to gain notoriety for his talent. So much so, that in 2001, Byron was asked to perform a featured song “It’s Showtime” on the Japanese Jason Becker Tribute CD: Warmth in the Wilderness. The CD was designed to spread awareness of Jason’s condition of ALS, contracted following his David Lee Roth album recording.

Turning Point: 100 Worlds

Mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by Nick Webb, 100 Worlds was Byron’s first statement album that really characterized what he could create with music. With compositions such as “Russian Winter” and “La Luz De Barcelona,” Byron began to marry international textures and flavors in meticulously composed and performed musical pieces. Picking up recognition for his musical presence, Byron was shortly thereafter featured in a chapter “Switching Gears” in the book Working Musicians by New York City ASCAP/DEEMS Taylor award-winning author: Bruce Pollock. 100 Worlds was re-released in 2004 as a CD.

The Video Chronicles

In 2014, Byron released a 4-song studio and video release, featuring Jeremy Colson on drums, Philip Bynoe on Bass from the Steve Vai Band, and Mark Boals on vocals from Yngwie Malmsteen’s early records. Showcasing Byron’s talents as more than just a performer, but one of a lyricist as well as composer. The Reimagined Video Chronicles, originally released as a CD, was re-released this past year.

The Force Within

Released as the Byron Nemeth Group’s fourth overall album, The Force Within that was also mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by Nick Webb was a tour de force of guitar acrobatics and prog rock sensibilities, comparable to the masters of the genre. As Byron’s first album to feature art from world renowned RUSH artist, Hugh Syme, the album kicks off with “Satrianimal,” a tribute to Joe Satriani. The artwork represents a WWI gas mask as a metaphor for the perils of humanity, with open fields representing the openness of potential. A reflection of Byron’s career, he has been constantly open and available to further his musical passion with the some of the greatest musicians of all-time.

Bio

Going onto tour with various bands throughout Northeast Ohio during the 80s and 90s, Byron began to explore his personal style, playing with bands like Sacred Heart, Amon-Ra, Prodigy, and Electro-Motive-Force. Releasing the Vision as a 1985 Cassette with Sacred Heart, the Reimagined version was recently made available. Following his first cassette debut, Byron also took part in the release of In the Company of the Gods with Amon Ra in 1992, now also available as a Reimagined version.
