Greensboro underground metal artist Cole Webb was arrested last weekend for trespassing at the abandoned school, in what looks like an effort to perform an underground show. One eyewitness Jonny Johnson stated "I watched Cole get arrested while performing 'Take This Life'. He didn't stop singing until the cop tazed him! It was the best underground show I've been to in a while." - The Loudness Press
North Carolina man Cole Webb was seen last Saturday afternoon performing metal music from the bed of a moving pickup truck in downtown Greensboro. Witnesses claimed to almost watch Cole fall into moving traffic on multiple occasions, and some claim that objects were thrown at him by angry pedestrians. Eyewitness Barry Krieg stated "I wanted to hate him for being a public nuisance, but he was playing Blood and Thunder. I love that song, and it was raining at the time too, which really added to the atmosphere. I hate to say it but I'm going to be looking up his music later because of that." - The Loudness Press

Bio
Cole Webb is a Christian metal musician and songwriter. His purpose is to write and perform Christian metal songs, and use his platform to serve the metal community, the church, and all areas where the two intersect. By cultivating a community of mutual support, healing, and camaraderie, he aims to develop connections and proclaim the truth of God to those who might not otherwise know it. Through a blend of harsh and clean vocals, aggressive and dissonant melodies, and thunderous drums Cole’s songs portray personal yet relatable truths from an intrinsically flawed perspective.
Cole picked up a guitar at age 14 in hopes of one day playing the rock and metal songs he grew up listening to. He started his recording career in college, writing and recording a song for a friend’s recording class. He took this opportunity to co-create Muddy Hollow and Breaking Point, the beginning of his music career. Now Cole is working on his new concept EP Empire in Ashes, a collection of songs portraying the collapse of what was long dead. Influences range from Avatar, VAST, Avenged Sevenfold, Devin Townsend, and more. Featuring progressive structures, prominent melodies, and the screams of the damned, this years-in-the-making release holds truths about pain, regret, and freedom from our ghosts.
