Bio
CZK is a music artist whose journey spans continents, cultures, and creative evolution. Born in Cameroon in 1993, raised in Bangladesh from age 9 to 20, CZK’s life has been a tapestry of diverse experiences that shape her unique sound and perspective.
10 years after immigrating to the United States, CZK took a bold leap to honor her true calling: music. Relocating to Harlem, New York, in December 2023 from New Jersey, CZK found not only a home but a wellspring of creative freedom and growth. Immersing herself in the city’s culture, she honed her craft during an internship at Lounge Studios in Midtown Manhattan from April to November 2024. In October 2024, she debuted her first official single, signaling the start of a remarkable musical journey.
Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Bob Marley, Tracy Chapman, and Tina Turner, as well as contemporary greats such as Kendrick Lamar, Tems, Burna Boy, Ed Sheeran, and Adele to name a few, CZK’s music bridges eras and genres. Her work is a reflection of her purpose-driven mission: to create music that speaks truth, inspires joy, and connects deeply with people around the world.
On February 21, 2025 CZK released her latest single, “I Chose Me,” a soulful anthem of self-discovery and empowerment.
With roots that span the globe, CZK’s story is one of courage, reinvention, and a relentless passion to share her voice with the world.
