"Dear Tatiana: “Most Likely To Succeed” – instantly addictive, impeccably produced!"

Hailing from Orlando, FL, Dear Tatiana is a driven, passionate and charismatic hip-hop group with a unique approach to their blend of rap groove and pop-punk attitude. The sound is all about tight beats, uplifting melodies and a dynamic lyrical flow, not unlike inspirational artists such as Jake Miller, Childish Gambino and Air Dubai or All Time Low, just to name a few.

The EP, “Most Likely To Succeed” is a producer’s dream, creating a superb work of lyrical and musical composition that it is difficult to stop grooving to or hearing the melodies in your head. The ability to incorporate so many genres in a complete package is what the term, ‘BEST’ encompasses and this product has all those attributes.
Hip-hop, over classic electro-fused dance beats, dosed with some popular sample extracts, makes this an appetizing listen. Dear Tatiana has put out a selection of 5 hypnotic dance grooves and 1 slow-burning soul-stirrer in the title track. This EP should be played in its entirety in a club some place. Each track, while distinct, carries the listener to the next song with ease.
Though this is very groove oriented, and you may need to get your boogie shoes ready to hit the dance floor, don’t forget this is still a hip-hop EP at the core. Thayne Brown, Michael Fallas, Michael Gonzalez and Hunter Burdette, thoroughly tread the Kanye West and Childish Gambinopath – which means an album full of sweeping lyrical flows and progressive, dynamic music that pushes the hip-hop envelope.

It is instantly addictive, impeccably produced, and with some of the cheekiest lyrics and rhymes you’ll hear all year. As the EP progresses you get a taste of various rap styles, indie and dance influences. Dear Tatiana takes musical styles to a whole new level, embraces them, and puts their emphasis on it. Standouts for me, include, The Intro, The Morning After and Most Likely To Succeed.
Revolutionary, fluidity, consistency, conception and direction, are just a few of the exceptional qualities that “Most Likely To Succeed” has. Whether you’re discussing flow, composition, lyricism or even originality, this is simply a good EP.

Moreover, what makes this EP ultimately appealing is the attention to detail and the approach in making seriously catchy music. I am always interested when artists create good work and don’t rely on the status quo of any genre. Dear Tatiana brings diversity to this effort. There are all kinds of things happening in the background from different genres and styles blended together masterfully.
With well sung hooks, excellent wordplay and innovative productions, “Most Likely To Succeed” will hit a variety of notes within your emotional spectrum! - Jamsphere

"Dear Tatiana's "Most Likely To Succeed""

Based out of Florida, Dear Tatiana is an eclectic band that does not know boundaries when it comes to blending genres and simply creating music for the sake of being creative and original.

Their sound is an infectious blend of EDM, rock, punk and hip-hop, echoing artists as diverse as Gym Class Heroes, Childish Gambino or All Time Low, just to mention a few.

Their latest studio effort, Most Likely To Succeed, is a 6-tracks EP that showcases the band’s sonic diversity within a collection of uplifting and driven songs.

The synth-driven melodies of the intro and the tight house-inspired beats pave the way for the banger that is RIOT. The song’s high-octane lyrical approach and vocal performance really reminds me of artists such as Pitbull or Yelawolf, also thanks to the contribution of LBEZ, featured within the track.

The Bebe Rexha Interlude pushes the envelope with an insane production and some great drops, while following track “Young and Il Love” (feat. M.E.Z.) showcases DT’s more introspective side. The song slows the groove of the EP down, going for some uplifting and bright piano melodies and some cool vocals that remind me of some of the earlier Owl City stuff.

The Morning After is probably my favourite track of the entire album, as the snare just cuts through the song like melting butter. The balance of melody and aggression is outstanding. Last but not least, the album’s title track brings back a sleazy and groovy hip-hop flow, adding a whole new flavour to the EP.

In conclusion, “Most Likely To Succeed” is one of those rare EPs that can showcase the talent, vision and versatility of a producer throughout the entire setlist. I’ve always been amazed when artist can so comfortably wear different hats and embrace a wide range of influences, and the work of Dear Tatiana is no less exciting than that of some of the most highly regarded producers out there.Based out of Florida, Dear Tatiana is an eclectic band that does not know boundaries when it comes to blending genres and simply creating music for the sake of being creative and original.

""The Morning After""

Listen up: Just a few seconds into Dear Tatiana’s first song and I was convinced I made a mistake. I flipped through 30 open browser tabs trying to find if I hit play on the wrong artist. This act is a deadringer for Childish Gambino, and that’s the compliment of the year. (I definitely hit the right play button). The hip-hop group actually lists Gambino as an inspirational act (as well as Gym Class Heroes and Jake Miller) and my ears like what they hear.

I have to force myself to take “The Morning After” off repeat. I love the medley of sassy, sharp lyrics layered over unexpected noises like electronic beats and sparkling xylophone pings. I’m just going to go ahead and move this song into my “Happy Hour” playlist right now.

I can’t wait to see what Dear Tatiana has up their sleeves for us in person. - SunFest

"PREMIERE: Dear Tatiana — "Millennial""

In the past half decade or so, hip hop leaning rock has invaded the airwaves and become wildly popular. The latest group to continue this trend is Dear Tatiana. The Orlando-based quartet has shared a bill with the likes of Kaskade and Fall Out Boy and are ready to take their sound outside of their Florida base. As you can hear on their new song "Millennial," the band has a polished, spunky sound that's ready for pop radio and features the same catchy elements that propelled Twenty One Pilots to fame.

"'Millennials" is about my generation," the band explains. "My friend was telling me a story about how she can remember just 2 years ago, spending all her financial aid money in weeks, sometimes days, but now, has all the more reason to hold on to it. Most of my friends are finding new dreams, aside from 'being rich,' or 'graduating college.' They want what’s next. This sometimes leave us feeling we have to let go of ourselves in the process.

“'Now that I’m a professional, I can’t go out and drink like I used. What if people see me or judge me.'" Just be you. Everything takes time. You can’t wish for everything at rapid pace, we’d never be able to enjoy it. This song is about taking the time to find yourself, your lane, and what makes you happy.

Bio

There's an exciting new sound reverberating from Orlando, FL pioneered by genre-melding quartet, Dear Tatiana. Heavily influenced by acts such as Childish Gambino, Kanye West, Gym Class Heroes, and Chance The Rapper, the band blends rap groove and a pop punk attitude yielding an ear-catching signature sound. United in the common goal to uplift and inspire, Dear Tatiana is comprised of front-man and production mastermind Thayne Brown, drummer Michael Fallas, and guitarist Alex Ivanov. The mediums with which they weave their sonic tapestry are tight beats, uplifting melodies and dynamic lyrical flow.

Born in a bedroom, Dear Tatiana is the brainchild of producer Thayne Brown. Thayne made his first beat at 9 years old and has had his mind focused on music ever since. He started recording himself in his bedroom and releasing his music through MySpace.

An avid follower of the Hip-Hop and Warped Tour macrocosms, Thayne wanted to find a way to blend 2 of his favorite musical cultures into something of his own. Inspired by the lyricism and story-telling of Hip-Hop and the high-energy live shows of Pop-Punk music, Dear Tatiana strives to give their fans the best of both worlds.

Dear Tatiana are tried-and-true performers, creating an all-encompassing and unforgettable live experience. Their high-energy stage show ignites the audience and captivates the entire venue. The crowd at the Sunset Music Festival got to witness that first hand when the band was invited to open for Kaskade and Fall Out Boy in May 2015.
