Hailing from Northern, NJ Dolla$ignDunn is a rapper that can be best attributed for his versatility. Whether it be aggressively delivering punchlines, flowing over bouncy instrumentals, or tying in some crafty storytelling, the young artist is able to do it all while still retaining a confidence in his flow. Influenced by the likes of Cam'ron, Raekwon, N.O.R.E. and a handful of other grimy east coast hiphop pioneers.
From first getting a feel for rapping at the cool kids table in junior high to rocking stages out in Canada, Dolla$ignDunn never shied away from showing out. He was born in the suburban depths of northern New Jersey, however spent the greater part of his adolescence in upstate NY. Dunn embodies the luxurious success and pitfalls of street solider etiquette, Influenced by the struggle and championed by hustlers alike.
The name [Dunn] had originated from a family nickname, now it's his only known alias. The $ was later added as he had begun to outshine his environment. As a sophomore in high school Dunn was mistakenly introduced to a recording studio and immediately took a swing at a couple of YouTube instrumentals over the course of a summer. Rewriting his favorite rap songs as his own taught the young spitter how to switch flows and experiment with wordplay.
