BAM! BAM! BAM!
A furious fist bangs against the green, slightly weathered garage door, and the heaviness starts to fade. The cop-caller finally worked up the courage to take matters into her own hand, considering police showed up three times prior without the results she was looking for.
“TOO LOUD!!” she barks, confident those two words would calm the beast inside.
Little did DREADSHIP know that this was the first of many attempts to turn their volume knob to zero. From shows getting cancelled to the rants of a social justice warrior, the band persevered and released their debut album, Maiden Voyage.
When the cops that are called to stop you from making sweet tunes instead choose to stick around and listen, what do you do? When the mom from next-door sits on her porch with a glass of wine, reminiscing and drifting away while you vibrate her soul, what do you do? When internet cowards want to protest one of the best venues in town, what do you do?
Turn up.
