Last November, I was offered an opportunity to go cover Latin Grammy Week with a media team. The offer also came with an opportunity to perform at an artist showcase. I took the risk and headed out to Vegas with people I barely knew and got to work. As work, I mean listening and paying attention to the vibes of the artists who were at the Latin Grammys because there were many nominated artists who came to our media suite. The following day at the showcase, nobody knew I was performing because I was hosting and doing interviews at this event, but when my music came on, I snatched the mic and put on the performance of my life. I had originally visioned that someone would love my performance and invite me to perform at a Latin Grammy After Party. I hope to be remembered for making a difference in people’s lives and having a positive impact on society. If I can use my story of redemption after some of the darkest moments of my life with my mental health experiences to help others, then I’ve accomplished something beyond my music career as a Recording Artist. - Shout Out LA

Dylan Garcia keeps going when most won't. Despite his daily battle with a bipolar diagnosis, he won't quit. He shares his mental health journey to help inspire those who need it most. Dylan became fond of music as a child by bands such as El Chicano and artists, Baby Face and Michael Jackson. His first music instrument was an alto saxophone in middle school band class. He then purchased his first guitar sophomore year at UC Irvine, where he taught himself how to play. He stuck with the guitar and impressed 5x Latin Grammy Winner, Kenny O'Brien, who began calling him Dylan (after Bob Dylan) because of his voice and it stuck. Dylan also cut records with Grammy Nominated musician Ronnie King, who Dylan likes to consider a mentor and DJ Tony G, which led to Dylan transitioning into the style of music he loves, Funk and Neo Soul. Dylan hosted and performed last November at Latin Grammy Week, in Las Vegas. He hosted a live music showcase and he performed which caught the attention of Kilo (Lean Like A Cholo), who brought him onstage to perform at a Latin Grammy after party. In 2023 Dylan performed 3 times at the World Famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood with AFROMAN, RBL Posse and then headlining in August. Cinco de Mayo weekend he performed at the Original Lowrider Super Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center for a crowd of over 3500 people. In November Dylan opened for legendary funk band SLAVE at the Montclair Canyon Club. He started off 2024 by performing at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas this past February.
