Edward is known as a pioneer in reinventing the traditional sound of "Joropo Tuyero," which is traditionally played with a steel string instrument called the Arpa Tuyera. In his affinity with experimenting between fusions of indigenous and contemporary sounds, he replaced the commonly used nylon strings on his cuatro to steel. Creating his signature sound and adding flavor to his art form.
Nominated for two Grammy's and winning one Grammy alongside his band, C4, he continues to add to his diverse sound.
