Overview
Here’s what you need to know in order to review an EPK in the new and improved format. We’ve changed the layout to make it easier for bands to display the information most important to you, so you to decide whether or not they’re the right fit for your gig.
Social Media
- Total Followers: You’ll still see a breakdown of followers per social platform. We’re now showing total followers, the total number of social followers a band has across all platforms. A quick way to see how many fans a band has.
- Total Actions: (new/exclusive) Actions are the ‘likes’, ‘thumbs up’, comments and other interaction with the band’s content on platforms. This cool new feature lets you know how engaged the band’s fans are with their content online, a strong indicator on how likely they are to attend their shows. We’re proud to be the only platform providing this data to our partners.
Calendar
Our partners and users asked for a show calendar to display a band’s past and upcoming gigs. This will greatly cut down on back-and-forth communication when confirming band avails for your opportunity.
Videos
Now embedded in the page so you don’t have to click around to find videos. Bands can label videos of live performances as “Live”. There’s no better way to see if a band is a right fit than checking out a live performance.
Music Player
Conveniently located below videos, the music player is now embedded in the page so you can listen to and move through tracks with ease. As always. bands will upload full-length songs for your consideration.
Badges
Featured at the top of the page, you’ll see a badge above the band's name denoting the type of Sonicbids Membership they have. Gig Seeker Pro allows bands to apply to your gigs on the platform, whereas EPK Pro or EPK Basic does not. You can message any band on the platform regardless of their badge identity however.
