FashionRousseau is a 21 year old Richmond, Virginia/DMV based Rapper/Producer (under the separate moniker Sp_ceCowboy).

~ Raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Rousseau grew up on classical and jazz influences, years prior to Rap, with instruction in both genres, and received years of classical piano instruction.  

~FashionRousseau is a multifaceted artist with an eclectic array of influences as he consumed soul and gospel music in his mother's home with Jazz and classical in his Dad's home. At school he studied advanced music theory while participating in various bands as guitarist, vocalist, and pianist thus rounding out his early musical experiences.

~After a brief stint in Singing and Songwriting with intent to attack the pop direction, an Eighth Grade Fashion Rousseau turned to Hiphop after winning a local Poetry competition.  While honing his Rap skills, after high school, he attended Binghamton University in pursuit of a Law education before being driven to pursue his vision of Rap artistry in the HipHop genre with his full commitment.  He relocated from Alexandria to Richmond in search of a deeper creative atmosphere, reconnecting with his earlier influences from his first complete Rap project. There he has proactively learned music Production dedicating all of his previous influences towards that endeavor, utilizing his earlier musical training as a guide.  Releasing a vastly unheard mixtape under the Pen Name "Rosegoldvinyl," he turned towards concept and writing.  A year and a half later, with new perspective and insight, Rousseau self produced, self scribed and delivered the featureless Backwhen&Clublove.This currently streaming LP lead him into shows, small independent tours, and a step up the rung to a more public facing persona.  Rousseau currently resides and operates from Richmond, Virginia penning and producing his third LP.
